A sensation of pressure or tightness is experienced at the beginning of each new phase (approximately the first 2 days), a normal indicator of the adaptation of the supporting tissues to movement. It is not classified as intense pain.
Cleaning should be done gently with an auxiliary brush and pH-neutral liquid soap or by using cleaning agents designed for intraoral devices. Never expose them to hot water.
